A very warm welcome to all ex-players and former hockey club members to our website, it’s a great first step! Now we need to tempt you back on to the hockey pitch with our FREE one month ‘taster’ membership!
Saffron Walden Hockey Club is currently inviting all former members and ex-players of the club - and lapsed members of other hockey clubs - to revive their interest in the sport with a FREE one month 'taster' membership.
About the club...
Saffron Walden Hockey Club has 14 senior teams and runs teams for all ages at junior level. Established for over 60 years, the club has a rich history and is currently enjoying tremendous success with both mens and womens teams competing successfully at the highest amateur level.
The club offers the latest facilities, including a brand new astro pitch (to be completed this summer); professional level coaching and training sessions, run by qualified coaches; a well managed and funded club house; and, a vibrant social scene that combines the love of the sport with a wide range of events and mixers.

Whatever your age or ability Saffron Walden Hockey Club has teams that will value your contribution, whether you are keen to repeat previous successes, in our top teams, or want to participate in team sport again and enjoy keeping fit.
The club benefits from an experienced committee and management team and is well supported by local companies. Membership and match fees are realistically priced to ensure the highest level of participation.
