Juniors play at Olympic Park

On Friday, 1st and Saturday, 2nd Jan, some of the Junior teams at Saffron Walden Hockey Club played in the Indoor Hockey 2016 Competition at the Copperbox, Olympic Park. All games were played to a high level against stiff opposition, including Canterbury, Surbiton & the UK Lions, some of the top UK Junior Teams.
Results for each team were:
U12 Boys - Won 3, Lost 2, Over all result = 5th
U14 Girls - Won 1, Drew 1, Lost 4, Over all result = 6th
U14 Boys - Won 2, Drew 1, Lost 2, Over all result = 7th
U16 Girls - Won 4, Lost 2, Over all result = 3rd
U16 Boys - Won 4, Lost 2, Over all result = 4th
